The Higgins-Verbeck-Hirsch Mansion has a long history as a cinematic location. Is featured in the movie Willard (1971), in the sequel Ben (1972), and William Castle's The Night Walker (1964). It was the main location for Witchboard (1986), and in 1988 we can see it briefly in Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. In 1991 is seen as a fraternity house in Rush Week, and it even appeared on the VHS cover. It also appeared on tv on the second season of Tales of the Crypt (1989), the episode is called "Television Terror".

Very cool house, located right in front of the Marlborough School, it was built in 1924.
